Qumi - Qumi Review

Here is the 12th episode of Chronographics — “Coffee: The Bitter Bean of Freedom”! In the last 500 years coffee has migrated from continent to continent, changing provenance and nationality before acquiring its place as the invigorating morning beverage. Coffee was called many things, from the devil’s drink to the elixir of freedom. Coffee beans were a prized, sought-after trophy. They were stolen and smuggled across the ocean to be planted in colonies many leagues from its place of origin. The rulers of many a country have tried to ban the rich black beverage as associated with a freethinking attitude, arguably unwanted in loyal subjects. The French philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment were particularly fond of coffee, sipping it aristocratically while discussing the merit and dignity of men and abhorring tyranny as was their wont – the very same coffee that was born of exhausting toil and sweat of slaves on coffee plantations. Paradoxically combining freedom and slavery, coffee has long been an influence on history of mankind.DISCUSS THE EPISODE

NARR8 joins Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Blurb, Inkling, Vook, Comixology and many others in creating new tools that will allow content creators to build ebooks, digital comics, storyboards, interactive ebooks and more. This new tool from NARR8 has a similar name as a new tool from Amazon designed to help screenwriters bring their screenplays to life with storyboards: Storyteller.

Knights of the Void

The Knights of the Void is an Alliance that has waged war against the tyranny of the Empire.
